  1. If you choose to work with TravelSmart or book a holiday (or request information on a holiday) via TravelSmart, or want to subscribe to e-mail notification of updates or holidays you will need to pass personal data to TravelSmart through this site.
  2. Where you provide personal data to TravelSmart such data will be used only for the service you have requested.
  3. TravelSmart’s site does not automatically capture or store personal data from visitors to the site, other than to log the user’s IP address and session information such as the duration of the visit to the site and the nature of the browser used. This information is used only for administration of the site system and in the compilation of statistics used by TRavelSmart to assess the use of the site.
  4. This privacy policy does not cover the links within this site linking to other sites.

Protections

TravelSmart is a fully bonded technology business and Tour Operator. When your customers book any form of holiday package via the TravelSmart platform their money is completely protected via our ATOL bonding and the Civil Aviation Authority, under our ATOL Licence 2748. The Air Travel Organisers' Licensing (ATOL) Scheme regulates UK tour operators and provides financial protection to consumers. ATOL protects your customers from losing money or being stranded abroad. It does this by carrying out checks on tour operators and travel organisers it licenses, requiring them to take part in a financial guarantee scheme managed by the Air Travel Trust (ATT) which provides the funds to protect customers should a tour operator go out of business.

In order to be protected by the CAA a customer must book a holiday package including flights and be in possession of 1 single invoice from a Tour Operator. When a holiday is booked via the TravelSmart Technology, we recognise it as a single transaction and then we raise one invoice with all travel details included, which strictly complies with the CAA requirements. TravelSmart therefore is fully responsible for all of your customer bookings.

In the event that suppliers providing any component of a holiday fails to operate which includes flights - your customers will be protected under our ATOL licence and all monies will be completely safe.

If a customer books car hire or even transfers, they will also be protected under our ABTA Licence No D0238. ABTA will ensure that these are provided to you or refunded to you in the unlikely event that we become insolvent.

Therefore, whatever is booked with TravelSmart- your customers are fully protected.
